As of today (20/3/20) schools across the nation will close for children whose parents are not key workers.

There are fears among parents that their children’s education is going to suffer.

  • Twinkl – Usually costs a premium but they are currently offering free access for parents for one month. Use code: UKTWINKLHELPS

Games

  • Classroom Secrets – Appears again with completely free educational games for children of primary age.

Writing

  • Young writers competition – Competition for 5-18 year olds. Parents can create an account and entries can be submitted online

  • Literacy Shed – Images and stimulus for writing spurring on those imaginations!

  • Do something for the community – Write letters and emails to your local Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Family & Friends.
